Congratulations to Jason Mueller for receiving the Don Nixon 2015/16 Coach of the Year Award!
The Don Nixon Coach of the Year Award goes to the coach that is voted as presenting qualities of a great role model and leader for players in Springfield Minor Hockey.
Congratulations to Jason Mueller for receiving the Don Nixon 2015/16 Coach of the Year Award!
Jason consistently went above and beyond as a coach to further his player’s hockey experience this last year. His commitment, time, and energy were tremendous and genuine. Jason volunteered as a Head Coach for both the Pee Wee C and Provincial Girls teams. His extraordinary efforts to develop his players in all facets of hockey, leadership, and sportsmanship are an example to all around him. This consistent dedication and thoughtfulness translated into a fantastic environment of team work, hockey development and respect among the team and fellow coaches. The SMHA program is much stronger due to Jason’s outstanding contributions.
